A naturally occurring blue-green oxidation that forms on untreated brass, bronze and copper, usually taking decades to develop. However, this finish can be replicated in the shop with a chemical treatment.

This is house made specialty finish. We combine bees wax with special additives to achieve a durable, protective coating for copper and brass sinks, statuary and other items that shouldn’t have applied clear coatings. Applied hot, multiple coatings are rubbed in until a water resistant finish built up.
